Dear Subscribers

Woo hoo, that's news to me!

I've received a few messages from you about our online subscriber links, so I thought I'd let you know what's happening.

Ref: the comment on my previous blog entry... this company isn't being taken over. I'm sure I'd be the first to know! What is actually happening is that we are transferring our subscriber business to a sparkly new bureau. This company will be able to offer you a brilliant new service in the future. I'm hoping that all the new links will be up and running by the end of tomorrow, but if not, I hope you'll all be patient.

There's also a postal strike, which is delaying some of your precious subscriber copies. I'm sorry about this. If I could get enough copies in my car, I'd be round to deliver them myself! Sadly, my car isn't quite big enough, but it would be a fantastic MINI ADVENTURE!

Please pass the word onto any other subscribers because we really do care and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!

Anna x

I wonder if it be possible to include the month and the year on the front cover next to the issue number. I like to to keep my magazines in blocks of years and find it a bit irritating when I don't know in which year to look. Maybe I am odd, but wondered if the month and year could be reinstated as was up to 117. Best wishes, Brigitte

I wanted to register so I could renew my subscription. I couldn't because the system said that the combination account number/surname is not valid. It is - I've copy&pasted it from the original confirmation. So I took out a new one. Got another error message, telling me that there were too many possiblities for my credit card, whatever that is supposed to mean. Used different credit card which went through. But there was no confirmation mail or anything so I have no idea whether I've taken out a subscription or not. Have written to Origin's customer support, at least did not get an error message and am waiting for some kind of a reply now. I'm quite annoyed enough now not to renew my subscrition for any mags if this system doesn't work!

This explains a few things, but I'm missing my WOCS 127 and that should have been here a month ago. The old service links are broken, the new ones are hard to find, and I can't log in at all because the new system requires an 8-digit number and I have a 10-digit number (the one I've had for ages). I've sent email to the new email address on the service site, but those came back. Email sent to the Origin account, well one went into a void I think, a second finally sent me a change of email address notice, the third email sent to the other new address hasn't gotten a response yet. In the USA, I didn't know about your postal strike, so that at least tells me where issue 128 is. :) Hopefully, someone will get back to me and tell me if they can send out a replacement issue when the stike is over. Andrea
