Christmas SAL - March 2017

Postby snavenasus » Wed Mar 01, 2017 8:48 am

Doesn't seem to be many joining in with this SAL this year but for the die hards here's another month. Had this one finished about a fortnight ago so well organised this month and intend starting the next one possibly today.

Thanks Jayne. While I was ordering some more peel offs I got a stock of cards and treated myself to a mixed pack of sparkly card so reckon sparkles will feature quite heavily in this year's cards.

WOW everyone it quick this month. Should be able to post mine this week. Love the work I have seen so far. I don't think you can go wrong with a bit of sparkle at Christmas. Mine is stitched on gold sparkly aida.

They are all as lovely as usual ladies :D especially love the colours in your Sue. Sadly no card for me this month as I have 2 Mother's Day cards which have been taking up all my spare time.

kat join in with this SAL, you only need to one piece a month though can do as much as you want and it helps so much come Christmas time when there's so many other things needing attention.
It's a very loose SAL, you can do whatever you want that is Christmas related and if you can't manage something every month then that's ok also.

Lovely work Paula I love that piece.

I'm checking on everyone's progress but haven't done any myself yet. I've got some Durene Jones charts printed ready and some coloris thread it's just finding the time between crochet and 3 stitch alongs!

WOW - Three SALs I am sometimes struggling with the ones I do here, but to reiterate with the remarks already made that it's so good to have some pieces either ready to send or at least stitched before Christmas when there is always too much to do and too many distractions. Plus, secretly you can feel quite smug that you have already got some in your ready to post box. Grace
