Wedding project

Postby lindsaylou » Mon Jan 23, 2017 4:56 am

Yeah I said I'd never do another gift under pressure :) But then I saw this, fell in love with it and knew I would do it for Luke and Bec's wedding by April 1st. I got to Spotlight saw the chosen colours and decided against them (only 4 colours in project) so picked my own, keeping only the original grey/mauveDMC 318. The other colours were too "orangey"

I've always loved this pattern. Started it for my brother's wedding a couple of years ago and just couldn't get into it and with the deadline looming 8 just stitched something else. I also agree about the orangey colours I think I went with reds. I look forward to seeing your progress on this one

This is such a lovely design for a wedding sampler. Well done on a good start and I am sure you will finish it way before time.

Beautiful work love this.
My hairdresser's wedding is on the 6th of July, I stitch a weddingcard also beautiful I think. Never made one, it's a difficult one but I give it a try. :)
