Make an eye-catching pincushion and scissor fob!
  1. Cut around your stitched design leaving a 1cm seam allowance. Cut a piece of backing fabric the same size. The pincushion is 10x10cm and the scissor fob is 6x6cm.
  2. Place right sides together and sew around the edge making sure you leave a 2cm gap for turning through.
  3. Turn through, stuff with wadding and slip stitch the gap closed.
  4. Now finish off your pincushion and scissor fob with a cord. Using the same colour thread as the cord you've chosen, sew it around the edge of the pincushion and scissor fob. For the fob, make sure the two cord ends meet in one corner and are left long so they can be tied around a pair of scissors.
