| KNOW-HOW |
| |
You'll need a pair of good, sharp scissors.
And a pencil to mount your paperweight.
1. There are many paperweights available that are manufactured specifically for holding a cross stitch design. Visit your local needlecraft store to see the range available.

2. Back your design with lightweight iron on interfacing, then lay the card centrally over the back of your work. When you are happy with the positioning, draw around it in pencil. Carefully cut around the pencil line and slip your stitching face down into the recess on the back of the paperweight. It needs to fit the space exactly.
3. Place your stitching face down in the recess and lay the card disc on top. Peel off the backing on the green felt and hold it over the paperweight. Once you are satisfied that it is positioned correctly, smooth if down over the edge of the paperweight until it sticks and your stitching is held in place.
