| KNOW-HOW |
| |
1. Choose a design that your Valentine will like - will he appreciate a sporty theme rather than hearts and flowers?
2. If this is going to be an 'everlasting love', why not sign and date your design? 3. Take your design to work to stitch in your lunchtimes and coffee breaks.
4. If it's too late to start a big project, then stitch a small card and matching gift tag to go with a bought present.
5. Encourage your other half to have a night out with their mates so you can catch up on some secret stitching.
6. If you've only got an hour to spare, stitch a heart and mount into a keyring for a long lasting reminder of your love.
7. Remember a gift that is stitched and given with love will always be treasured more, so any small card will be well received because it's the thought that counts!
8. Remember you don't have to stitch a picture - practical gifts are appreciated too!
9. If you are stitching for a new or 'potential' Valentine, do some research by chatting to their friends to find out what sort of thing they would really appreciate. 10. Add luxury to your design by using beads, buttons and charms. Shades of gold and deep red will help convey those romantic feelings!
